Mission Statement

The Wandering Prevention Program is dedicated to safeguarding individuals diagnosed with Autism or memory disorders, such as Alzheimer’s, by reducing the risk of them becoming missing persons. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by families and caregivers, this program provides door alarms designed to act as an early warning system, alerting households when a loved one may be wandering.

By addressing a critical safety need, the program offers families peace of mind and enhances their ability to provide a secure environment for their loved ones. This initiative underscores a commitment to protecting some of the most vulnerable members of our community, helping to prevent potentially dangerous situations and ensuring that every individual remains safe at home.
