Three Kings Day Celebration

Every year, the MPD’s District 2 hosts the Three Kings Event, a heartwarming celebration that brings together families most impacted by crime and hardship for a day filled with food, fun, and gifts for children. What began humbly in a garage, serving just a handful of families, has grown into a cherished tradition that touches the lives of many families in need.
This event would not be possible without the generosity of others. From purchasing presents to helping host the celebration, the dedication of the community plays a vital role in spreading hope and joy during the holiday season.
The event holds special meaning for the Latino community, which makes up a significant portion of District 2. Three Kings Day, or Día de los Reyes Magos, is a beloved cultural tradition that celebrates the arrival of the three wise men bearing gifts for the Christ child. This holiday is a time for family, gratitude, and giving, and District 2’s event honors this rich heritage while creating positive connections within the community.
By coming together to celebrate the spirit of Three Kings Day, MPD and the community reaffirm their commitment to uplifting one another and making Milwaukee a better place for everyone.
